OUR LATEST TESTIMONIALS
This was a comfortable, convenient place in a great location, central to many sights and transportation routes in Lyon. The lobby is two flights up, so you need to OK with that. The hosts were very friendly and helpful – they even lent me a “sac” to bring my laundry to the laundromat. I’m sure their English is good, but I didn’t encounter any other American or English guests during my stay. Only complaint: erratic wi-fi.
I stayed here only for one night, room is clean, cozy, good size with bathtub and good location.
Easy to access to the station or restaurant district.
Just one thing is there is so many stairs to go to the front desk from the entrance and you have to go up more when you go to the room so it was difficult with big heavy suits case. There is no elevator so.
We loved our three night stay at Hotel du Theatre! Our room had double windows that opened out to a panoramic view of Place des Celestins. It was centrally located and offered a good value, delicious breakfast. I would definitely return!
This was our first ‘Eurostar’ city break and was a really good few days in Lyon. The hotel.
Well lets get the negatives out of the way first. the reception of this hotel is on the first floor and the rooms one and two floors above that and there isn’t a lift. our room was 83 steps. not a problem for us and this is the only negative about the hotel. the rooms our really good and for the price a very good stay. the real plus of this hotel is the location. It is in the heart of Lyon only a few minutes virtually everything. All the staff we meet were really friendly and helpful. would stay here again but may practise my stair climbing.
